Position Overview: The Coatings Production Helper supports the efficient, safe, and   high-quality operation of the Coatings Department. This role requires   foundational knowledge of coating operations and the ability to perform tasks   consistent with department SOPs and production standards. Essential job   functions include, but are not limited to:

 

Essential Job Functions:

Equipment Operation & Production

  • Assist in the        setup, operation, and shutdown of all coating line equipment according        to SOPs.
  • Operate        blenders, mixers, pumps, dosing systems, and all related coating        equipment with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Follow        formulas and batch requirements to ensure correct measurements, dosing,        and processing.
  • Monitor line        performance and product quality throughout the run.
  • Identify,        troubleshoot, and communicate equipment or process issues promptly to        the Lead or Production Manager.

Process Knowledge   & Support

  • Demonstrate working        knowledge of coating processes similar to that of a Lead, including        production flow, equipment functions, and safety requirements.
  • Assist in training new or        current operators on proper processes, equipment operation, safety        practices, and production flow.
  • Support Leads and        Specialists by helping maintain daily production goals and ensuring        smooth transitions between batches and shifts.

 

Material Handling   & Documentation

  • Perform Packout duties        including bagging, sealing, coding, labeling, and palletizing finished        product.
  • Verify all labels, lot        codes, and product specifications before release.
  • Accurately stage raw        materials for production runs and verify quantities against production        orders.
  • Report all finished goods,        yields, downtime, and material usage in RedZone in real time.

 

Quality, Safety   & Workplace Organization

· Follow all GMPs, food safety protocols, quality standards,   and safety rules.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with   5S standards.

· Participate in sanitation tasks as required between batches   or during changeovers.

· Immediately report any deviations, safety concerns, or   quality issues to leadership.
