Job Description
What does your day to day with us look like
- Verify, and match POs to invoices and record accounts payable data
- Reconcile vendor accounts to ensure that all invoices and payments are accounted for properly
- Verify and investigate discrepancies
- Understand expense accounts and cost centers
- Obtain complete documents from subcontractors (waivers, releases, authorizations)
- Understand sales tax compliance issues
- Correspond to vendors and respond to enquires
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Process outgoing payments in compliance with company procedures and processes
- Any other related task as required.
What do you need to ensure Excellence in your role?
- Work experience as an Accounts Payable clerk in Construction or similar role
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and AP principles
- Strong data entry skills
- Experience with spreadsheets and accounting software
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Construction familiarity
- Functionally bilingual (French/English)
