Description:

The Supply Sales Rep / Delivery Driver is responsible for visiting existing customers as well as prospecting for new customers and obtaining supply orders. When delivering, they will inspect the vehicle to ensure it is operational for delivering products safely to our customers. They will ensure products are delivered on time and in proper condition. Also responsible for pulling products, loading the product onto the trucks and trailers with safety measures in place.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Visit with existing customers to obtain new supply orders
  • Prospect for new customers that may purchase supplies from us. Meet with customers and explain the products that AllTerra offers
  • Provide quotes to customers. Enter quote into BC
  • Conduct inspections of vehicles before departing to deliver products
  • Pack and load products according to routes
  • Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes in timely fashion
  • Communicate with customers to make sure of stocking location
  • Unload goods as per customer specifications
  • Review delivery with customer to ensure order is correct
  • Obtain signature for delivery confirmation
  • Maintain communication with the office for future deliveries


OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Load truck and/or trailer safely with weight limits in place
  • Load with routing in mind for multiple deliveries
  • Shipping and receiving products
  • Stocking products
  • Cleaning and organizing warehouse
  • Driving the forklift
  • Unloading and loading 18 wheelers for incoming and outgoing products
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
  • Able to lift, carry, move or position items weighing up to 100 lbs. as necessary
  • Able to work in warehouse environment and do manual labor
  • Forklift certification and able to operate in a safe manner
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Ability to accomplish planned weekly and monthly schedules
  • Ability to speak in a professional manner
  • Computer Literate – MS Office preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Must be available to travel to customer and/or company locations as required.
  • Flexibility to work past normal business hours as necessary.


COMPUTER SKILLS/EQUIPMENT USED:

  • General office equipment (computer, printer, fax, copy machine), scanner, calculator.
  • Computer knowledge in a Windows environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Professional, clean and comfortable office environment.
