This is a truly exciting moment for Home Run Inn!  We’re looking for a Director of Revenue Growth who’s ready to step up to the plate and swing for the fences. We are seeking a strategic and analytical leader to drive profitable growth across all of our retail customers. This role will own trade optimization, assortment strategy, competitive analysis, inventory health, and out-of-stock reduction. With 60% of volume sold on promotion, this leader will build the frameworks, tools, and cross-functional processes required to maximize ROI, improve forecast accuracy, and strengthen retail execution.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Trade & Promotion Optimization

  • Own trade spend strategy and ROI analysis across all retailers
  • Develop promotion lift models and elasticity curves
  • Optimize promo depth, frequency, and mechanics
  • Lead implementation of AI-enabled trade analytics
  • Build retailer-specific playbooks

2. Retailer & Competitive Analytics

  • Analyze retailer operating models and performance drivers
  • Identify distribution gaps and white space opportunities
  • Lead SKU rationalization and assortment architecture by account
  • Assess competitive pricing and promotional intensity

3. Inventory & Demand Alignment

  • Build weeks-of-supply and aging inventory dashboards
  • Identify and mitigate code risk in frozen inventory
  • Improve forecast accuracy in partnership with Supply Chain
  • Align S&OP inputs with trade and assortment strategies

4. Out-of-Stock (OOS) Reduction

  • Lead OSA (On-Shelf Availability) reporting
  • Diagnose root causes of OOS (forecast, fill rate, execution)
  • Quantify lost sales and margin impact
  • Implement retailer-specific corrective action plan

5. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Sales to guide trade planning
  • Collaborate with Finance on margin optimization
  • Align Marketing on pricing architecture
  • Support Supply Chain with demand signals
  • Influence executive decision-making with data-driven insights

  

Compensation/Benefits

  • Competitive base salary – range of $140,000 to $200,000
  • Annual performance bonus tied to revenue and margin targets

Requirements:


  • 8–12+ years in CPG revenue growth, trade marketing, category analytics, or commercial strategy
  • Experience in high-promotion categories (frozen preferred)
  • Proven ownership of trade spend optimization
  • Strong financial acumen (P&L impact, margin modeling)
  • Experience with Nielsen/Circana or syndicated data
  • Expertise in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel modeling)
  • Experience implementing Trade Promotion Management (TPM) systems preferred
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and sales teams

Success Metrics (First 12–18 Months)

  • Improve trade ROI by X%
  • Reduce out-of-stocks by X%
  • Reduce aging/code-risk inventory by X%
  • Increase base velocity across priority SKUs
  • Improve forecast accuracy
