We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks Online expertise to maintain financial accuracy, perform reconciliations, and support leadership with clear financial reporting across our organization.


Position Overview

The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across multiple clinics and entities. This role focuses exclusively on bookkeeping, reconciliations, reporting, and financial organization within QuickBooks Online.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, systems-oriented, and comfortable managing high-volume financial data in a multi-location healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Financial Management

·        Maintain and manage QuickBooks Online across multiple clinics and/or entities.

·        Accurately record daily financial transactions, journal entries, and account classifications.

·        Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking (non-billing related).

·        Process and reconcile vendor payments and internal transfers.

·        Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records.

Reconciliation & Reporting

·        Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.

·        Reconcile merchant accounts, EFT deposits, and payment processors.

·        Reconcile financial data between practice management systems and QuickBooks Online.

·        Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

·        Prepare financial summaries and reports for leadership review.

·        Assist with budgeting support and expense tracking.

·        Collaborate with CPA or external accounting partners as needed.

Financial Systems & Process Improvement

·        Maintain financial controls and ensure accuracy across multiple cost centers.

·        Identify discrepancies and resolve inconsistencies in financial data.

·        Develop and refine internal bookkeeping workflows and documentation processes.

·        Assist with audit preparation and compliance documentation.

·        Support leadership with financial data for operational decision-making.

Qualifications

·        3+ years of bookkeeping experience (healthcare experience preferred).

·        Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required).

·        Experience managing bookkeeping for multi-entity or multi-location organizations preferred.

·        Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals.

·        High attention to detail and accuracy.

·        Strong organizational and time management skills.

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

·        Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and financial integrity.

·        Experience working alongside CPAs or preparing documentation for tax filing preferred.
