Offset Press Apprentice – Entry-Level Opportunity

Start your printing career with hands-on training and real growth potential. We’re seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an Offset Press Apprentice. You’ll learn the ins and outs of offset printing from experienced press operators in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in setup, operation, and maintenance of offset printing presses
- Prepare materials, mix inks, and load paper
- Monitor print quality and ensure consistent production standards
- Learn proper cleaning and safety procedures
- Work closely with press operators and production team to meet deadlines

Requirements
EXPERIENCE
- No previous printing experience is required, however an interest and true desire to learn the trade are preferred. Experience in material handling or warehouse work is preferred.
EDUCATION
- A high school diploma or GED is required. An Associates Degree in Graphic Arts/Printing Technology, or high school level printing-related classes are preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possesses ability to read and understand job tickets, Standard Operating Procedures and instructions. A valid Maine driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Must be able to meet all physical demands of the position.
