About this position
Education: BS Degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology is preferred. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
Months/Years of Experience: Three (3) years experience dealing with the concept design and engineering, and test and evaluation of weapon systems components, subsystems, and systems.
Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Must have or be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
• Navy and/or Marine Corps related experience is preferred but not required for consideration.
* Ability to manage various aspects of a project to include technical, schedule, and budget.
• Ability to work effectively with customers to define test requirements and objectives.
• Strong communication skills to enable effective written and oral communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to function independently in a dynamic environment with a diverse team.
Skills Needed:
• Knowledge and comfort working with electronics.
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Attention to detail.
Duties: This Test Engineer will become part of the Precision Fire Control (PFC) program team.
Travel up to 50% of time to offsite vendors and testing facilities.
Comments: Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be required as a condition of employment.
