Cashier

As an Echter's cashier, you will be the last and most important point of contact for customers. Cashiers ensure that customers had a pleasant experience in the store and leave with the information needed to be successful. As a cashier, you will facilitate an efficient check-out by ringing merchandise, applying coupons/discounts, boxing product and taking payment. Cashiers must be able to work quickly, ensure accuracy, and remain upbeat throughout the day. 

Duties
A day in the life of a cashier could include:
• Ringing product and taking payment
• Providing customer assistance
• Distributing informational material
• Documenting customer suggestions/comments
• Communicating with carryout team
• Boxing, wrapping, and loading purchases
• Pricing and stocking
• Cleaning and organizing

Qualities We Value
Echter's provides training and education for each of its team members so although previous plant knowledge is valued, it is not required for this position. More importantly, we are looking for someone who is/has:
