Human Resources & Benefits Administrator (Relaxed & Fun Office!)
POSITION

Would you like to be a part of our team? If so, as our HR & Benefits specialist you will:
Be responsible for benefits administration:
- Own the benefits enrollment process, ensuring employees are aware of benefit options and know of relevant benefits options and enrollment windows
- Manage dependent verifications
- Benefits invoice reconciliation
- Process medical support orders
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee benefits records in HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information
Own the leave of absence and accommodations tracking:
- Administer and track employee leaves of absence, including intermittent, continuous, and reduced schedule leaves as well as ADA and accommodations from employee's initial notice to the employee's return to work
- Educate employees and managers on leave policies and procedures, including documentation requirements and timelines
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the leave lifecycle for human resources, employees and managers regarding leave eligibility, documentation, and return-to-work procedures as well as collaborating with managers to develop modified work schedules or accommodations during intermittent leave periods
- Ensure policy compliance with FMLA, ADA, and other federal/state leave programs and stay current on state and federal leave of absence laws and regulations
- Identify and implement process improvements to help optimize workflow and improve customer experience.
Manage employee
- Review new hire info for accuracy, including I9 data
- Ensure successful management and processing of employee data
- Responsible for accurate and timely data entry and performing quality checks of the data
- Strong problem-solving skills (identify, analyze, research, evaluate, resolve)
- Process accurate data management while collaborating with various departments
Give stellar customer service:
- Provide guidance to employees regarding HR policies, procedures and programs, escalating matters as appropriate
- Serve as cross-trained backup for all areas of human resources, including payroll processing
And of course, the obligatory:

QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS:
- Demonstrates ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Tech savvy in excel and prior HRIS experience
- Process and detail orientated, self starter, organized
- Strong math skills
- Demonstrates critical thinking and judgment
- Ability to research and apply problem solving techniques.
- Meet deadlines and multi-task
- Work with minimal supervision
- Strong ability to work effectively in an in-person, open team environment
- Consistently exhibit a strong work ethic and positive attitude
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3 years' employee benefits and/or human resources experience
PREFERENCES:
- Bachelors Degree
- HR or Benefits Certifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Restaurant experience
