Job Title:  Key account Specialist
Location: On Site Norwood, New Jersey
Manager’s Title: Wholesale, CS Lead

Type: Full Time, $24-$27/hourly + OT


What You’ll Be Doing:

Order & Shipment Management:

  • Maintain an accurate order pool and manage customer expectations accordingly.

  • Analyze shipment schedules, bulk order management, and supply and demand trends to maximize shipping potential.

  • Collaborate with Demand Fulfillment to ensure fill rates are met and deliveries are completed on time and in full.

Customer Communication & Order Coordination:

  • Communicate with customers regarding purchase order updates, price variances, shipping status, and all other order-related details.

  • Provide updates on product availability and request purchase order extensions when necessary.

  • Document all order changes and communicate any variances from the original purchase order agreement.

Performance & Compliance Management:

  • Manage purchase order fill rates, shipping information, shipping methods, and department numbers to minimize chargeback exposure.

  • Maintain knowledge of all EDI transactions and follow proper processing procedures.

  • Partner consistently with Customer Operations and the warehouse team to maintain service levels for assigned accounts.

  • Ensure accuracy in fill rates, shipping information, labeling, and shipping methods to maximize turnaround time and customer satisfaction.

  • Coordinate with other departments such as Demand and Inventory Planning to ensure proper bookings for on-time delivery.

Customer Relations & Support:

  • Establish relationships with external customers by offering current and accurate information to successfully maintain the order pool.

  • Administer phone and customer service skills when covering phones and working with buyers and Sales Reps in a professional manner.

  • Partner with Customer Operations when necessary to prevent chargebacks and ensure all order information is accurate and up to date.



What You’ll Bring 

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2–4 years of customer service experience; retail experience preferred
  • Strong customer service, communication, and selling skills
  • Ability to analyze data, reporting, and sales forecasts
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Proficiency in multiple systems and applications
  • Customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency
  • Adaptable, reliable, and able to manage shifting priorities
