Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance / Customer Service Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance or customer service, preferably within the insurance industry. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to assist brokers, manage client accounts, and support financial operations. Proficiency in Hindi and/or Punjabi is highly desirable to effectively communicate with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process financing contracts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage client accounts and provide administrative and operational support to brokers.
- Conduct customer follow-ups for collections and communicate with financing and insurance companies to resolve account-related issues.
- Perform policy data entry and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
- Reconcile financing and insurance company accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with other financial record-keeping tasks.
- Support bookkeeping functions, including maintaining documentation and financial records.
- Assist with general customer service inquiries and provide timely responses to clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a finance or customer service role.
- Insurance industry experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Power Broker software or similar insurance management systems is an asset.
- Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience with data analysis, account reconciliation, and collections follow-ups.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate in Hindi and/or Punjabi is an asset.
