Electrical Construction Project Manager

Excel Services is a fast-growing design-build contractor looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager to lead commercial projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who values accountability, teamwork, and quality craftsmanship.

What You’ll Do

The Electrical Construction Project Manager ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to Excel’s standards, while developing field teams and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from handoff through final closeout
   
• Review estimates, budgets, schedules, and material needs
   
• Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, and major purchases
   
• Support and mentor foremen and field leadership
   
• Track job costs, schedules, and profitability
   
• Document, price, and bill change orders
   
• Schedule inspections and manage project closeout documentation
   
• Enforce safety standards and company policies
   

Leadership Expectations

• Lead teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
   
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical construction or related field
   
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
   
• High School Diploma or GED
   
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, OSHA, and safe work practices
   
• Effective communication and strong mechanical aptitude
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Kentucky Electrical Master License
   
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Foreman
