About this position
Primary Responsibliities:
- Repackage produce
- Trim and run any produce that requires to be worked on
- Clean and maintain work area and refferes which included: cleaning and sanitizing the tables and equipment, sweeping the floors and scales
- Empty and replensih the cleanser and sanitizer buckets daily
- Perform other related warehouse duties as may be required or assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
- Produce expereince preferred but necessary
- Must be 18 years of age
- Requires lifing of up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work weekends and overtime
- Must be able to be on your feet for entire work shift
- Must follow specific instructions and safety procedures (i.e. Food Safety), working to specific routines
- Expereince with hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, knives and standard safety equirement preferred (will train)
- Must be able to learn produce knowledge
Working Conditions:
- Must wear smock, harinet, safety toe shoes and gloves when in the warerhouse and repacking/trimming produce
- Must be able to work in a refridgerated area, temperatures range from 35 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit
