Responsibilities:
A Revenue/Pricing Specialist plays a critical role in developing and maintaining pricing strategies for products and services. Their responsibilities include:
- Applying statistical and mathematical models to evaluate pricing decisions.
- Monitoring price performance and making adjustments based on market conditions. Applying and maintaining pricing models and plans.
- Analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competitor actions to determine optimal pricing strategies.
- Conducting market research and surveys to gather data on pricing and market conditions.
- Collaborating with various departments such as sales, marketing, and product development to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Providing sales support to ensure invoicing and purchase order procedures align with pricing guidelines.
- Communicating findings and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems is beneficial.
