About the job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights through compelling visualisations and dashboards. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a data-driven environment and has a passion for leveraging analytics to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to elicit and document requirements, manage expectations and collaborate on solution design.
  • Optimise Power BI data models and queries for performance and scalability.
  • Integrate data from various sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence
  • Maintain and enhance existing reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Implement row-level security and data access controls as per organisational needs.
  • A self-starter, happy to take ownership of your deliverables and take the initiative to drive end-to-end outcomes.


Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 4 + years of experience in designing, building, and enhancing BI reporting dashboards, and visualisation solutions using Power BI, SQL and other relevant tools in a fast-paced environment and complex business setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing dashboards, data quality reporting, and extensive delivery of metrics.
  • Detailed understanding of BI and data concepts and patterns as well as outstanding technical knowledge of integrating BI Solutions.
  • Expertise in Power BI, Power Query, and DAX.
  • Advanced experience writing SQL queries or working with databases
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to be able to bridge the gap between business and technical teams
  • Strong storytelling skills and ability to translate data analysis into powerful content in the form of presentations and documents
  • Ability to work within complex and challenging data environments
  • Proven experience in collaborating with internal, analytics, reporting, and data teams
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task to meet critical deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to deconstruct business problems into key questions using design thinking principles

Educational Qualification: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent quantitative discipline.
