Apex Spine and Neurosurgery is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our expanding neurosurgical team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in both the clinic and hospital settings, providing comprehensive care to patients with complex spine and neurosurgical conditions. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented clinician with a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient evaluations, histories, physical exams, and assist in developing treatment plans.
- Assist neurosurgeons in clinic, hospital rounds, and surgical procedures.
- Order, review, and interpret labs, imaging, and specialty consultations.
- Provide post-operative care, patient education, and follow-up.
- Document all patient encounters accurately in the EMR system.
- Participate in on-call rotation and support inpatient neurosurgical care as needed.
- Maintain strong clinical skills through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Physician Assistant license (or pending application) in the state of Georgia.
- Experience in surgical or procedural specialties preferred; neurosurgery experience is a plus but not required—training will be provided.
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and supporting practice goals.
- Experience with EMR systems (preferred).
