Clean Room Packer

1st Shift Clean Room Packer - (experience in a clean room helpful but not necessary)

EMS is looking for candidates who like to work in a team atmosphere, are highly motivated, dependable and able to work in a fast paced environment.

Position Summary:   In a sterile environment in a manufacturing (non-medical) clean room, the packer is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging metal material to prepare for final packing.

Responsibilities:

• Carefully inspect material for dust and contaminants prior to packing.  
• Accurately label metal coils for identification ensure they are properly sealed
• Operate table lift and sealer machine
• Use hand-held tools
• Maintain a clean and organized packing area, following all safety protocols.
• Wear all required clean room PPE
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High School or Equivalency Diploma
• Basic shop math skills
• Manual dexterity and attention-to-detail required
• Prior class 8 clean room experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand written instructions in English

Physical Demands:

• Standing for long periods of time
• Lifting up to 5 lbs
