About this position
ACA International is seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Marketing Specialist to support the Marketing Director in the production and deployment of digital marketing initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on marketing work — writing, building, posting, pulling lists, organizing data, and reporting — and who is comfortable working across CRM, email platforms, and social media tools.
Schedule: 20-40 hours per week depending on workload
Work Environment: Remote
Start Date: ASAP
Length of Assignment - Potentially 6 months or longer - TBD
Compensation: $20–$25 per hour (USD)
Position Overview
This role provides hands-on support to the Marketing Department through:
- Development and execution of email marketing campaigns
- Creation and posting of social media content
- CRM list management and segmentation (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Basic marketing reporting and performance tracking
- Data management and Excel-based organization
- Weekly marketing calendar coordination
This is a production-focused role working under the direction of the Marketing Director.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing & Content Production
- Draft, edit, and design marketing emails (written and visual content)
- Build and deploy emails using Higher Logic (or related marketing automation platforms)
- Ensure alignment with ACA brand and design standards
- Assist with subject line testing and audience targeting
- Schedule and execute campaigns as directed
Social Media Support
- Create and post social content across platforms (primarily LinkedIn and others as assigned)
- Repurpose email and website content into social formats
- Coordinate posting schedule to align with weekly marketing calendar
- Monitor basic engagement metrics
CRM & List Management (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Pull, segment, and prepare marketing lists from CRM
- Upload and maintain clean marketing lists
- Support campaign targeting efforts
- Assist with database hygiene and contact management
Reporting & Data Management
- Track campaign performance metrics (open rates, click rates, engagement)
- Pull basic reports from CRM and email platforms
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets for campaign tracking and reporting
- Assist in organizing marketing data for internal review
Marketing Coordination
- Help manage and update ACA’s weekly marketing schedule
- Coordinate deadlines across departments
- Support marketing calendar transparency
Required Skills
- Email marketing experience
- Copywriting and editing
- Experience posting social media content for an organization
- Microsoft Office proficiency (especially Excel)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable working in a production-driven environment
Preferred / Recommended Skills
- CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics strongly preferred)
- Experience with Higher Logic or comparable platforms
- Marketing automation experience strongly appreciated (HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere)
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
- Experience pulling reports and analyzing marketing performance
- Database management experience
