Events Sales Assistant

The Winery at Bull Run and Old Farm Winery at Hartland is looking for a full time, energetic, customer service focused Event Sales Assistant to join our dream team.

The Event Sales Assistant will assist the Sales Manager with all wedding, corporate, and social event bookings as well as assist with day of event coordination. Our Mission is to make a lasting impression on our clients and earn their business.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to event inquiries via phone and email
• Assist in converting event leads to event bookings
• Assist Sales Manager with administrative duties
• Schedule client meetings
• Host client tours and corporate client meetings
• Assist with private event marketing creation
• Assist in client satisfaction and event rental success
• Assist with day of event coordination
  • Facilitate event set-up, day of coordination, as well as coordination with vendors, delivery and client needs.

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Communications, or related field of study preferred, not required.
• (1) one to (2) two years of relevant experience in events, hospitality field, or food and beverage.
• Should be a proactive self-starter with the ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure.
• Experience working in the hospitality industry, exhibiting the ability to accommodate and adapt to situations by effective decision making.

Job Type: Full time, Hourly, 35 – 40 hours per week

Pay: $17-$20 per hour

• Weekdays in office and weekends based on appointments and/or events s
• Holidays
• Weekend availability
