This position is located at our North Central St. Cloud location. St. Cloud, also known as the Granite City, is home to several parks and attractions highlighting our granite mining history. For example, Quarry Park and Nature Preserve is a 683 acre preserve with 20 former granite quarries and is a great place to swim, scuba, fish, climb, or admire.
Position Description:
As a Bus Prep & Support Tech, you will play a vital role in making sure that our new and pre-owned buses meet our North Central standards and the standards of our customers!
This position has a wage range of $22 - $26 hourly.
Essential Functions
  • Bus Check-in Process: inspect for damages, top off fuel and fluids, and verify all options are included
  • Bus Lot Management: move and park buses, maintain lot organization, update inventory, and perform general upkeep
  • Pre-delivery Assistance: help with inspections, vehicle prep, cleaning/detailing as needed, and general shop upkeep
  • Inventory Staging: stage new and pre-owned buses for photos and ensure technicians' staging areas are ready with the next scheduled bus
  • Parts Management: pick up parts and supplies, stock shelves, and maintain organization and cleanliness of the warranty parts area
  • Other Duties: remove and install lettering on vehicles as needed, plus any other assigned tasks

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Mechanical, technical, and fabrication skills
  • Ability to multitask and a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and organization
  • Strong team player
Required Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class D Driver's License
Preferred Experience:
  • Upfitting/Installation experience
  • Busing/Transportation background
  • CDL with passenger endorsement
