Registered Nurse, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary
RN provides compassionate, specialized nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in a clinical or hospital setting. Assesses patient needs, administers medications, monitors vital signs, supports families, and collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality pediatric care.
Job Duties
Plans, implements, evaluates, and delivers patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Maintains clinical skills and competency through orientation, annual and ongoing education, and clinical practice.
Follows Tribal Health and client specific policies and procedures.
All other duties as assigned and specified by clinical assignment and site.
Requirements:
Specialty: RN - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
Licensure: Active, unrestricted nursing license
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E.
Experience: Minimum 12 months full-time RN experience in PICU, NICU, Pediatric CVICU, or other high-acuity pediatric critical care unit
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts; 36 hours per week
