The Production Planning Supervisor role has a national salary range of $62,500 - $70,000.
For roles in California the range is $70,304 - $82,000, and for roles in Washington the range is $80,169 - $82,000.

Job Description
Serves as the primary liaison between order management and labor management, Operations and the customer. Spearheads waving matrix, waving rules, and production to the floor, as well as order research. Collaborates with operations to achieve SLA goals. Responsible for exception reporting for KPI misses, as well as team seeking and implementing continuous improvement processes in order management.
Develops feasible master production schedules for finished goods and component items based on capacity requirements. Provides daily-bucketed schedules by SKU to manufacturing and purchasing and installs production compliance metrics to measure performance. Participates in implementation of ERP systems and implementation, maintenance, and compliance with online scheduling processes. Leads efforts to install standard Master Production Scheduling processes, in accordance with MRPII methodology.
- Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of frontline associates by providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed, while also developing a strong team culture of inclusion and belonging.
- Maintain continuous communication with departments to ensure production priorities and shortfalls are addressed in a timely manner, with limited impact to customer service.
- Update13-week master production schedule for the plant's finished goods weekly.
- Schedules requirements using Production Planning Module.
- Manage production scheduling process to meet customers' needs and expectations, while optimizing use of plant resources (e.g., staffing, equipment, etc.).
- Lead weekly scheduling meeting. Presents proposed upcoming schedule that captures understanding of other department's priorities while maintaining focus on customer requirements.
- Partner with customer planners to obtain understanding of customer expectations for accuracy, quality, and timeliness; develops and implements methods to meet or exceed expectations.
- Assist with cycle counting and physical inventory processes in order to maintain accurate inventory accounting.
- Performs daily and weekly tasks such as daily Attainment Report, Scrap Report, Capacity Tool, Bridge Forecast vs. Actual, Yield Opportunities, Labor Review with Operations, and maintaining current Shop Order Process

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent four years work experience, required
- 3 + years of scheduling experience, preferred
- 1+ years of Adage ERP scheduling system experience, preferred
- 3+ years of Microsoft Office application, particularly Excel, required
