Parts Delivery Driver

Responsible for getting parts to customers in the condition that meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations. 

Work Performed: 

• Must work safely
• Must provide great customer service
• Must have good attendance
• Must work as a team
• Accurately load the truck according  to the specifications
• Inspect and sign off on every part loaded for delivery to customer
• Inspect for quality every part to be loaded
• Ensure accuracy by verifying that all paperwork is completed and parts are on trip sheet
• Represent the company in a professional and neat manner
• Handle any discrepancies between the customer and our salespeople by notifying sales immediately in order to get matter resolved quickly
• Ensure that all maintenance for the truck is done and up to date
• Ensure that routes to be taken are planned with efficiency as the goal
• Ensure that truck is loaded to ensure parts will not get damaged in transit
• Secure and balance load
• Keep truck detailed inside and out
• Pick up parts from customer when discrepancies occur; if damaged, note on invoice
• Turn in all paperwork that verifies incoming parts and returns
• Expected to follow company policies as outlined in the company’s Employee Handbook
• Other duties as may be assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

 Experience Required: 

• Valid Driver’s License and be insurable under Company insurance policy
• Driving safely and courteously

 Skilled Required:

• Provide quality customer service at all times; responding to customer’s needs 
• Exhibit sound and accurate judgment to support and explain reasoning for decisions; include appropriate people in decision making process
• Use of time efficiently and productively
