Position Title: Welding Lead
Location: Pottstown, PA – 75% Travel
Position Type: Full Time, Hourly
Position Summary:
The Welding Lead supports the Welding Foreman by overseeing welding quality, mentoring welders, and ensuring proper technique and safety. This role is hands-on and focused on craftsmanship and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform and oversee welding tasks (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core).
· Inspect welds for quality and compliance with specifications.
· Train and support junior welders and apprentices.
· Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper usage.
· Assist the Foreman with workflow coordination and troubleshooting.
· Promote a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
· 3–5 years of welding experience.
· Proficiency in multiple welding processes and materials.
· Ability to read welding symbols and fabrication drawings.
· Strong attention to detail and safety.
