About the Role:
  • Leads the 24/7 Lethality Assessment Program (LAP) response for victims referred by law enforcement and hospital staff. Primary responsibilities include providing crisis intervention and follow-up services, coordinating home visits with police, supporting on-call interventionists, and ensuring data collection and reporting. The Coordinator also serves as the key liaison to regional partners, including domestic violence service providers and the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates the 24/7 response hotline and supports the Domestic Violence On-call Interventionists.
  • In collaboration with Program Manager, supports the onboarding process of Domestic Violence Advocates and On-call Interventionists.
  • Is available to assist Domestic Violence Advocates and On-call Interventionists with cases.
  • Organizes and coordinates responses to referrals, including high-danger home visits with law enforcement and follow-up for non-high-danger reports.
  • Serves as the primary contact for regional implementers and domestic violence service providers
  • Facilitates regional meetings and participates in statewide meetings.
  • Ensures accurate and timely data collection; attends regional meetings and facilitates required reporting.
  • Provides direct services to victims, including crisis intervention, safety planning, risk assessment, emotional support, and education on trauma, legal options, and available resources
  • Strong partner to Baltimore County Police Department.
  • Answers hotline calls during scheduled shifts; ensures consistent documentation of client contact and services provided. Leads coordination of police accompanied home visits across designated precincts.
  • Tracks and compiles data for required reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Associate's degree required.
  • Experience: One year prior domestic violence and related experience
