Position Overview:

The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and espresso-based drinks while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, friendly, and committed to creating a welcoming environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Drink Preparation:

  • Prepare a wide range of coffee and espresso-based beverages according to established recipes.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in each drink, from brewing coffee to creating latte art.
  • Follow proper techniques for grinding, brewing, and steaming milk.

2.    Customer Service:

  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting guests with a warm attitude and assisting with orders.
  • Educate customers on menu items, making recommendations based on preferences.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.

3.    Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including counters, machines, and utensils.
  • Regularly clean coffee equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and safely.
  • Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies as needed.

4.    Cash Handling:

  • Process customer transactions accurately, including handling cash and credit card payments.
  • Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.

Qualifications:

•    Previous experience as a Barista is preferred but not required.

•    Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.

•    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

•    Attention to detail and a passion for coffee preparation.

•    Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
