RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist the dentist during generalized pediatric dental procedures, including general anesthesia.Clean the patient’s teeth.Fluoride applicationTake, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic).Provide hygiene and diet education.Take impressions.Schedule follow-up exams.Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately.Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms.Parents consults-discuss treatment plans.Clean and sterilize instruments.Lab work.Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area.Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines.Participate in marketing endeavors Write letters to be sent to referrals.
