Security Manager
Responsible for protection of the casino assets. This position will insure resources are appropriately allocated and managed to
deliver an exceptional customer experience in a clean and safe environment.
Minimum of three years previous management experience in casino environment required. Knowledge of security and safety experience is required. Must possess broad knowledge base of general preventative maintenance and cleanliness needs in a business environment. Must have working knowledge of safety to include OSHA regulations. Must be at least twenty-one years of age. Must posses exceptional computer skills. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is request. Possess exceptional customer service.
- Create weekly work schedules department
- Maintain payroll records and approve PTO for property operations departments
- Maintain trained staff to be utilized to protect company assets within company guidelines and State Regulation, in cooperation with the Enforcement and Investigative Divisions.
- Train security officers to observe all departments, Team Members, casino areas and customers for suspicious activities to maintain a safe environment.
- Interview, hire and coach Team Members for security
- Ensure all policies and procedures are being equitably applied to all Team Members.
- Recommend changes and additional safeguards for the protection of casino assets.
- Protect the integrity and assets of the company by identifying and properly acting in accordance with all governing regulations, including gaming, health and alcohol awareness.
- Provide exceptional customer service to include greeting all customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Responsible for insuring a safe environment for all Team Members and guests.
- Responsible for insuring all safety policies and procedures are being adhered to by security team
- Maintain cooperation with the law enforcement and gaming control board enforcement and investigation divisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand or walk for the entire shift and access all areas of the property.
- Ability to bend at the waist, crouch, stretch, kneel, climb, twist, and crawl without restrictions.
- Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to push and/or pull up to 200 pounds.
- Must be able to stoop, bend, and reach as needed.
- Ability to converse over the telephone in environments with loud background noise.
- Must be able to listen and respond to visual and auditory cues.
- Ability to handle multiple guests demands simultaneously.
- When on the casino floor, must tolerate exposure to secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
