Administrator
Reports to: Executive Director
Supervises: Facility Managers and Direct Care Staff
The ç must be a minimum of 21 years of age and pass all background clearances.
Job Summary:
The Administrator is responsible for the 24 hours, 7-day operation of the home. Oversee the supervision of the youths at THYH. Oversee the admission, treatment, and transfer of the youth.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the home and delegate responsibilities to Direct Care Staff and Facility Managers.
- Execute training plan and coordinate staff compliance with training requirements.
- Interact with staff, youths, family, and others to ensure the quality of care.
- Report to the Executive Director on any urgent or emergency issues, or other
known issues. - Assist the Executive Director in developing policies and
procedures and continuous quality improvement plan. - Handle with Executive Director hiring, evaluation, and other human resource
matters. - Oversee regulatory audits.
- Assist as needed to conduct admissions.
- Review complaints and grievances by youths, staff, or the public.
- Participate in the development and evaluation of the program,
treatment, and other clinical needs. - Ensure agency adheres to the state and county standards
pertaining to STRTP’s and mental health organizations. - Trains staff in Pro-Act interventions.
- Assist Executive Director in supply provisions and other facility needs.
- Oversee and review all Special Incident Reports.
Education and Experience:
Have a master's degree in behavioral science from an accredited college or university, plus a minimum of two years of employment as a social worker in an agency serving children or in an STRTP for children, or
Have a bachelor's degree, preferably in behavioral science, from an accredited college or university, plus at least three one years of administrative experience or supervisory experience in a social services agency which provides direct services to children in an outpatient setting or in an STRTP with a licensed capacity of six or more.
The Administrator shall maintain a current Administrator Certification for STRTP from the State of California.
Must clear a CCL, DOJ, and FBI fingerprint criminal background check
Must have a valid California Driver License and be insurable under the Agency Insurance carrier
Proficiency in bookkeeping, human resources, and CCL and DCFS administrative practices and procedures are preferred.
