Overview

The Lateral Flow Production Analyst is an entry-level, non-exempt position that reports to the 

Lateral Flow Production Management Team. The Lateral Flow Production Analyst manufactures a wide variety of Charm ROSA diagnostic tests for screening in the dairy and/or grain industry.


The pay range for this position is $22.00 to $31.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and other factors in accordance with applicable laws.


Essential Functions 

• Prepare and adjust reagents required for testing and production of ROSA components.

• Dilute necessary antibiotics in raw milk or prepare incurred grain samples and qualify using approved tests.

• Spray and assemble components for pre and post-production testing.

• Document accurately and precisely all vital information to track raw materials such as lot numbers and production dates. Present complete data for approval by management.

• Bag, label and seal finished product and store in proper conditions.

• Update SOPs as assigned to ensure procedures are current and correct.

Requirements:

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


Required:

• BS or equivalent in Biochemistry, related field, or equivalent experience

• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Excellent attention to detail


Preferred:

• Lateral Flow diagnostic test manufacturing experience

• GMP/GLP Experience

• Understanding of basic statistics


Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds.

• Ability to operate a pipette accurately and consistently for up to 1,000 repetitions per day.

• Manual dexterity to fill and adjust airtight syringes, and to make fine adjustments on production equipment and reel-to-reel machines.

• Visual acuity to inspect and label spraying defects on a moving component web within a reel-to-reel system.

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, typically 60–90 minutes at a time.

• Tolerance for working 10–15 minutes in low-temperature environments (4°C and -20°C).

• Ability to work in low humidity (<20% RH) and elevated temperature (up to 28°C) conditions.

• Capacity to safely handle antibiotics in both dry powder and concentrated liquid forms within a laboratory setting.
