Eastern Metal Framing is looking for a motivated and reliable Forklift Operator to add to our Production department. You will have the opportunity to be part of a fast pace and growing company. Job Functions
- Loading and unloading material
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the warehouse
- Stacking material in the correct storage, following inventory control instructions
- Checking to be sure loads are secure
- Stacking empty pallets
- Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and checking equipment
- Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
- Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
Requirements
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- (Two) 2 plus year operating a Forklift
- Forklift Certified
- Able and willing to work outside and in all weather conditions.
- Excellent integrity, strong character and takes initiative
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with people from all levels and departments.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English. Bi-lingual, desired.
- Ability to use computers and software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Eastern Metal Framing Warehouse Management System.
- High attention to detail.
