Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and complete residential HVAC system installations, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and IAQ products.
- Manage and direct install crew members to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards.
- Review job specifications, load calculations, and blueprints to ensure accurate system placement and design.
- Ensure all installations meet local codes, manufacturer guidelines, and company quality expectations.
- Perform system start-up, testing, commissioning, and homeowner walkthroughs upon completion.
- Communicate professionally with customers, explaining system operation and answering questions.
- Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and project management to confirm materials and scheduling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site while protecting customer property.
- Train and mentor apprentices and junior installers to support skill development and team growth.
- Identify and communicate any job scope changes, challenges, or additional opportunities.
- Complete all required job documentation accurately in company software (e.g., ServiceTitan).
- Uphold company safety standards and OSHA compliance at all times.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- EPA Certification required.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and local code.
- Proven leadership experience managing install crews.
- Ability to read blueprints and job specifications.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied conditions.
- Professional, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.
