About this position

Position Overview

This role is for someone who has hands-on experience building and optimizing email campaigns inside major ESPs and understands how email drives revenue.

You will not just design emails — you will help execute strategy, improve performance, and proactively contribute ideas that impact client results.

This role requires both creative execution and practical marketing judgment. This is a fully remote job.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Execution & Design

  • Design and build on-brand, conversion-focused email campaigns inside platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.
  • QA and test emails across devices and inboxes
  • Ensure all emails are mobile-responsive and optimized for performance
  • Maintain design consistency across campaigns and automation flows

Strategic Contribution

  • Collaborate with strategists to align email campaigns with broader marketing goals
  • Contribute ideas for segmentation, personalization, and automation improvements
  • Recommend layout and design improvements based on performance data
  • Support A/B testing initiatives

Performance & Optimization

  • Understand core metrics (open rate, CTR, CVR, revenue per send)
  • Apply best practices related to deliverability and engagement
  • Make data-informed design adjustments to improve results

Cross-Channel Support

  • Create supporting digital assets for landing pages, pop-ups, and promotional campaigns
  • Maintain brand standards across client touchpoints

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience designing and building emails inside ESP platforms (Klaviyo strongly preferred)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating conversion-focused email work
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools
  • Understanding of:
    • Email segmentation
    • Basic automation flows
    • A/B testing fundamentals
    • Email performance metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines independently
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Basic HTML/CSS for email editing
  • Experience working in an agency environment
  • Familiarity with email deliverability best practices
