Warehouse Associate - Residential/Tract Division

Roof Depot, Inc. is offering a solid career opportunity within the Residential Tract Home Division in our Sanford, Florida location. Roof Depot is well-established in the commercial and residential roofing industry with 25+ years experience. The successful candidate for this opportunity will have an uncompromising dedication to customer service, quality control and safety.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Cycle Count all Inventory
• Receive deliveries
• Stock inventory
• Load materials for deliveries onto delivery truck
• Make deliveries to all spoke locations and job sites
• Maintain cleanliness in Warehouse and Stock Yard
• Responsible for all inventory control at warehouse and spoke locations
• Operate Forklift

Required Skills/Competencies

• Applicants must have a very good understanding of Asphalt shingle roofs, supervision experience, and construction experience
• Able to correctly lift up to 75lbs.

• Able to walk roofs (flat to 8/12 pitch)
• Computer literate
• Able to finish a set schedule everyday
• Must have good communication skills with both customers, office and crews
• MUST be self-motivated
• Ability to problem solve and multi-task
• Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug test

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

• 2-5 years of experience with Shingle and Metal roofing systems, repairs, and installation is preferred
• Experience with construction/OSHA safety protocols are a plus
• Valid driver’s license and must meet out driver eligibility requirements

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to tolerate extreme heights
• Must be able to setup and climb ladders
• Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying and extreme climate conditions
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise
• Must be able to drive a pick-up, panel, or large truck (if a necessary requirement of position)
