About this position

Job Summary: Keep dishes clean and stocked so kitchen can put out food in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures clean trays, utensils, kitchenware, tools, and all other items in our restaurant.
  • Ensures each item that is brought to the dish station is properly cleaned, sanitized, and dried.
  • Works safely but as quickly as possible without compromising cleanliness.
  • Responsible for cleaning the dish station including sweeping and wiping down all equipment.
  • Responsible for cleaning the restrooms.
  • Assists in the cleanliness of the FOH and BOH.
  • Ensures all items are properly clean before putting them into rotation.
  • Verifies proper sanitizer with sanitize strips at start of shift.
  • Cleans entire station at end of shift; makes sure all equipment is properly shut down.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Adheres to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
