Finished Goods Inspector
Job summary
This position is responsible for identifying and removing defects from goods to be shipped to customers as well as approving/rejecting materials based on form, fit, function and finishes and properly coordinating the materials if additional processes are required.
Summary of essential job functions and responsibilities
• Inspect rolls of material for defects
• Measure and cut rolls of material per customer specifications
• Read and interpret work documents as required
• Move and change rolls as necessary
• Setup and configure machines per standard operating procedures.
• Enter data into computer
• Ability to safely use hoist and pallet jack
• Observe all safety, PPE, and quality procedures while completing required tasks.
• Ability to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended period of time.
• Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and related experience and/or training.
Required Skills or Abilities
• Basic math knowledge
• General computer skills
• Attention to detail
