💼 About the Role
The Assistant Property Manager (Non-Pre-Leasing) plays a key role in delivering an exceptional resident experience while supporting leasing operations, marketing efforts, and daily property management functions. You’ll serve as a primary point of contact for residents and collaborate closely with Property Managers, Leasing, Maintenance, and Marketing teams to drive occupancy and community satisfaction.
This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and meaningful interaction with residents.
🔑 What You’ll Do
Leasing & Occupancy Support (35%)
Manage the leasing process from prospect to resident to ensure efficiency and a high-quality experience
Support application processing, lease execution, and move-in coordination
Partner with Property Managers to optimize occupancy and leasing outcomes
Resident Experience & Relationships (30%)
Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, responding to questions and resolving concerns
Escalate complex issues to the Property Manager while maintaining a resident-first approach
Build positive relationships that strengthen resident satisfaction and retention
Marketing & Community Engagement (15%)
Support and lead marketing initiatives to drive occupancy and visibility
Maintain accurate property listings across websites and external platforms
Assist with branding, photography, floor plans, and marketing materials
Help plan and execute community events and outreach efforts
Other Responsibilities (20%)
Conduct regular property and community walks to uphold Uptown’s industry-leading standards
Create and follow up on maintenance work orders using internal systems
Monitor compliance related to rent payments, renter’s insurance, and utility transfers
Support unplanned needs and day-to-day operational priorities
