A day in the life...

The dishwasher is to clean and maintain equipment and areas such as Dishwashing/ Kitchen/ Cafeteria/ Compactor and Storage according to hotel specifications and standards. Wash pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils and equipment. Assign other cleaning projects as needed. 

Key Responsibilities:

•  Operate dishwashing machines and manually wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. 
• Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. 
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, walls, workstations, and equipment. 
• Ensure all areas are free from debris and hazards. 
• Properly dispose of waste and recyclables. 
• Maintain cleanliness in trash disposal areas. 
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. 
• Safely operate and maintain dishwashing equipment. 
• Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Who you are…

• Experience in a similar position is preferred. 
• Communicate effectively in English with guests, management, and co-workers. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
