Memory Care Executive Director
Grand Villa of Sarasota is excited to announce a unique opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Memory Care Executive Director to lead our Memory Care Unit. We are seeking a compassionate leader with strong administrative and leadership skills to oversee the daily operations and ensure the delivery of exceptional care to our residents. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Memory Care Unit, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Lead, motivate, and support staff to deliver high-quality, compassionate care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance resident satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation for the unit
- Foster a positive and engaging environment for residents, families, and staff
- Ensure staff training and development to maintain high standards of care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to support residents' needs
- Monitor and improve quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven leadership and administrative skills in a healthcare or assisted living setting
- Working knowledge of healthcare administration, preferably within memory care or assisted living environments
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage budgets, staff, and regulatory compliance effectively
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving residents' quality of life
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, social work, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Prior experience in memory care or dementia-specific care is highly desirable
