Position: Human Resources Manager

Location: Boston, MA (hybrid)
Reports to: VP of Human Resources

 

Allied Global Marketing is seeking a proactive and strategic Human Resources Manager to help lead and advance our talent management initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this role will oversee core HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, performance management, leaves of absence, benefits, employee engagement, compliance, and policy administration across our global workforce.

What You’ll Do

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Administer HR programs and processes including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, leaves of absence, performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee relations
  • Maintain and update our HR systems, including supporting the rollout of new features and process improvement
  • Participate in employee investigations, disciplinary meetings, and termination
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulation
  • Monitor HR trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously improve policies and processes
  • Oversee required compliance reporting including ACA and EEOC reporting

Talent Management

  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist with recruiting, reference/background checks, offer letters, and employment eligibility verification
  • Support the employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting onboarding check-ins and exit interviews and administering surveys
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, addressing HR-related inquiries and escalating complex matters when appropriate
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives

Performance & Development

  • Coordinate and administer the annual performance and salary review processes
  • Coach managers on performance management best practices and support the performance improvement plan process as needed
  • Implement and manage programs, ensuring compliance with required training and supporting career progression efforts

Benefits

  • Serve as primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, eligibility, enrollment processes, and policy interpretation, providing clear and responsive support
  • Manage annual open enrollment processes, including vendor coordination, employee communications, system updates, and issue resolution

Process Improvement & Strategy

  • Collaborate with the VP on the review and enhancement of global HR policies and procedure
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, systems, and the overall employee experience
  • Support broader HR and talent management initiatives that help meet company’s goals


What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity, with ability to work with and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with HRIS and talent management systems (Rippling experience is a plus!)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a marketing or advertising agency environment
  • Experience working across multiple sites/locations
  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification

Details
  • Benefits: This position will be eligible to participate in the standard benefits offered to full-time employees of Allied Global Marketing (medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability and life insurance as well as 401k and Flexible PTO). In addition, we offer 10 company paid holidays.
  • Salary range: The annual salary range for this position is $95,000-$100,000.
