About this position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Accounting Intern to join our team. This internship offers practical experience in core accounting functions, providing valuable exposure to real-world financial processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Account Maintenance: Maintain and update daily books of accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements including the balance sheet and profit & loss statements.
Accounting Software: Use Tally or Zoho Books to manage entries and reconcile accounts.
Taxation Support: Provide basic support in tax computations and filings under the guidance of senior staff.
Data Entry & Reconciliation: Ensure accurate entry of financial data and reconcile discrepancies in ledgers.
Compliance Support: Assist with documentation for audits, statutory filings, and compliance checks.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in an accounting role in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm is mandatory.
Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of accounting software such as Tally or Zoho Books is mandatory.
Education: Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and reports.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in handling financial records.
Communication Skills: Basic verbal and written communication skills.
Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Internship Details

Location: Gurgaon (Work from Office)
Duration: 2 months
Compensation: Stipend will be provided based on experience and interview performance
