About this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as technical lead when working with external partners to design, implement, and maintain systems for data integration and exchange via the Cloud.Engage with stakeholders to rapidly assess technical requirements, configure physical and virtual equipment, and automate data movement between systems.Prepare and update technical documentation and effectively communicate it to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proactively identify and document risks and issues, develop resolutions, and escalate key items to senior management to meet program goals and objectives.
Expected Travel: Up to 25%
Required Qualifications:
- 6-15 years of demonstrated technical experience in systems engineering Experience designing and building environments in AWS, especially S3, EC2, & VPCDemonstrated experience working with external, non-US stakeholders to advance both technical and programmatic objectivesExperience communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholdersExperience supporting federal government customersExperience with Extract/Transform/Load operations on bulk and streaming dataMust be willing to travel, possibly to austere environments and areas of conflict, with reasonable flexibility to meet mission needs.Ability to deal effectively, comfortably, and confidently with people at all levels of responsibility, authority, and rank.Experience with classified data repositories and tools.Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.Applicants selected will be subject to a medical evaluation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for approval to travel.
