WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Serioplast, a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, is looking for a Technologist for our plant in Konya, Türkiye.

The Technologist reports to the Technical Manager and is responsible for guaranteeing production continuity and product conformity by ensuring process stability in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment regulations, and in line with company standards and procedures.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
• Set and optimize product recipes, ensuring that necessary regulations and PLC parameters are in place; perform required mechanical and electronic adjustments; control production variables to ensure that product specifications are met.
• Actively support the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of quality issues.
• Ensure process stability during production and take timely action to address any deviation.
• Carry out the electromechanical installation and commissioning of machines and equipment (compressors, air conditioning systems, dryers, leak test devices, cameras, palletizers, etc.); take an active role in new machine, mould, and product validation activities.
• Develop solutions by fabricating mechanical or other parts to resolve production or technical issues and improve machine performance.
• Support the Technical team in improvement projects and technical decisions related to machines, equipment, moulds, and processes.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards by following company safety rules and maintaining order and cleanliness in the assigned areas.
• Ensure effective communication between the team and the Manager; collaborate with different functions to contribute to operational excellence.
Technical Skills
• Excellent knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM).
• Excellent applied knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and/or electronic systems.
• Good applied knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques.
• Good applied knowledge of WCM standards.
• Basic knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment rules and practices.
• Ability to operate manual and electric forklifts.
Personal Skills
• Strong accountability mindset; takes ownership of actions and results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience
