What is my role?

As a Sales Account Executive, you will work closely with Design, Licensing, and directly with the customer to maximize our existing penetration and drive new opportunities, ensuring annual sales projections and margin goals are met.

What You’ll Do

  • Accurately complete and upload all worksheets in Unity, ensuring all customer details are included prior to submission (commits, buy plans, delivery timelines, etc.)
  • Provide necessary costing details to Account Manager, such as estimated quantities, delivery timelines, target and/or retail cost, packaging details, estimated size scale ratios, etc. 
  • Negotiate costs directly with customer and coordinate internal cost negotiations through Account Management
  • Responsible for downloading Account Managers on all upcoming meetings, providing agendas, as well as detailed post-meeting recaps
  • Prepare selling reports, conduct sales and competitive shopping analysis, and develop projections 
  • Maintain sales projections and margin goals while driving profitable growth across individual accounts and the overall business unit
  • Responsible for successfully negotiating mark down requests/allowances in order to maintain constant profitability of their accounts
  • Direct point of contact with customer
  • Drive sales growth by identifying white space, strategically analyzing and capitalizing on best sellers, trend-right product and key item volume drivers.  Based upon current selling, account history, the intelligence gleaned from the retailer and findings at retail, the key focus is to help drive volume through key items and trend right product, find new opportunities, and capitalize on incremental growth
  • Provide strategic analysis and help identify current sales trends and drive incremental growth by building on successes and executing new and fresh idea
  • Work closely with Creative to align on key items/core initiatives based on current trends and market intelligence. Responsible for providing direction to merchandise packages and art needs for meetings
  • Work closely with Licensing to align on licensed graphic needs/initiatives
  • Responsible for collecting and putting together cost sheet w/ T&A details to sales/merchants  
  • Responsible for quoting the costing to the customer
  • Coordinate with related parties to reduce costs where possible
  • Prepare and manage selling reports, sales analysis, competitive retail analysis, and projections
  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of all reporting to support forecasting and strategic planning

What You’ll Need

  • Category market experience required
  • Prior licensed experience required within apparel industry
  • Understanding of garment construction desirable
  • Good eye for translating apparel & graphic trends into designs
  • Knowledge of print & ink techniques
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Adaptable in fast paced, high growth work environment
  • Ability to manage key accounts and numerous projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Maintain a positive attitude and take responsibility and accountability

Salary Information

$90000.0 - $105000.0 Annual Salary
