Overview

iParametrics is seeking a dynamic Marketing & Proposal Manager to lead the development of high-quality government proposals while driving strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen the company’s brand and support business growth. This hybrid role requires exceptional leadership, a strong understanding of the federal and state/local procurement environment, and the ability to create compelling marketing and proposal content that differentiates iParametrics in the emergency management and resilience consulting market.

Key Responsibilities

Proposal Leadership & Management

  • Lead the full lifecycle of proposal development—from kickoff through submission—for federal, state, and local government opportunities.
  • Manage proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, review cycles, writing assignments, and production.
  • Conduct and facilitate strategy sessions, color team reviews, and solution refinement with technical staff and capture teams.
  • Ensure all proposal content is compliant, compelling, and aligned with win themes and customer needs.
  • Write and edit key proposal sections such as executive summaries, management plans, technical approaches, staffing, past performance, and corporate capabilities.
  • Capture & Business Development Support

  • Collaborate with business line leaders and subject-matter experts to translate customer insights into win themes and proposal narratives.
  • Support pipeline development by preparing capability statements, qualifications packages, and tailored marketing materials for customer engagement.
  • Assist in competitor analysis, customer research, and solution framing to enhance capture strategy.
  • Marketing & Brand Management

  • Lead creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, including capability statements, brochures, presentations, fact sheets, and case studies.
  • Oversee website updates and ensure content reflects current capabilities, experience, and thought leadership.
  • Assist with the company’s social media presence to promote brand identity, expertise, and program accomplishments.
  • Ensure messaging consistency across proposals, marketing content, website, and external communications.
  • Collaborate with business line leaders to plan and execute marketing campaigns, conference materials, and outreach initiatives.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience managing government proposals, including federal and state/local procurements.
  • Strong marketing and content development skills, with demonstrated ability to translate technical information into clear, impactful messaging.
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills, especially in coordinating cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of capture management and how marketing, proposals, and BD activities integrate.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency with marketing and proposal tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, proposal management platforms).
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in emergency management, resilience, security, engineering, or similar technical consulting fields.
  • APMP certification or Shipley training.
  • Experience with CRM systems and analytics tools.
  • Graphic design or visual communication skills.
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and government procurement processes.
