About this position
BGTPS offers Early Childhood and Extended Mental Health Consultation services to youth ages 3-17 years of age and their support systems in Baltimore City/County. This position is responsible for programmatic consultation involving prevention, intervention, training, psychoeducation, and service delivery to children, parents, and staff. ECMHC will address barriers to school success for youth while serving as a member of the collaborative team supporting the integration of social-emotional and behavioral health intervention strategies within the program. Benefits: • 401(K) Retirement and Matching • Flexible Schedule • Clinical and administrative supervision provided • In-house CEUs available and participation in several training initiatives Requirements: • Bachelors degree in Social work or Counseling • Minimum (1) one-year experience in an outpatient setting Duties/Responsibilities: • Complete Social/Emotional Screening (DECA-C/ASQ-SE) • Provide accurate, concise, and concurrent documentation according to program procedures and policies in EHR • Facilitate SEL small groups and SEL lessons in the classroom • Participate in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement teams (IEP/CDT/IFSP/Staffing/Team). • Responsible for working between multi-school sites as needed by SEL need and productivity • Conduct Classroom/Individual Observations and Parent/Staff Trainings Skills: • Ability to provide therapeutic interventions and strategies • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Plan, coordinate and direct varied and complex operations • Travel throughout the community to conduct site visits, attend meetings and participate in community educational program
