About this position

JOB SUMMARY

As a Tasting Room Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for guests visiting our tasting room, ensuring they feel welcomed and cared for. This role is integral to creating a seamless and enjoyable guest experience by managing reservations, seating guests, and assisting with various aspects of hospitality operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the first impression of the brand, warmly welcoming all guests and introducing them to the property and their reserved experience.
  • Guide guests to their table or tasting area and check them in using the reservation system on a tablet.
  • Provide support to management & sales team with overseeing daily service flow. Tasks include supporting time management of table turns, communicating guest special accommodations / needs and facilitating surprise & delights for guests celebrating special occasions with us
  • Support inventory and merchandising efforts by restocking retail and tasting room items as needed.
  • Assist with table service by clearing plates, silverware, and glassware after use.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver food to guests and provide brief descriptions of the dishes.
  • Assist with end-of-day duties, including stocking wine, washing dishes, glassware, and utensils, and maintaining general cleanliness.
  • Perform routine cleaning of bar and patio areas, ensuring they are presentable and guest-ready at all times. Keep floors clear of debris, broken glass, and spills during service to ensure safety and cleanliness.
  • Exhibit flexibility and a team-first attitude by assisting with additional tasks as needed in a dynamic hospitality environment.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 21 or over as must be able to pour wine as part of welcome splash
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and special events.
  • At least one year of experience in a guest-facing hospitality role.
  • Customer service experience required; prior restaurant or retail experience preferred.
  • Must have or be able to obtain ServSafe certification and Responsible Beverage Service certification.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Passion for wine and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Familiarity with TOCK reservation systems is a plus.
  • Experience with POS systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:

  • Lift up to 25-50 pounds regularly.
  • Move safely over uneven terrain.
  • Bend, sit, twist, and stand for extended periods.

Salary Information

$18.5 - $19.5 Hourly Wage
