What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in pre- and post-operative care for gynecology patients
  • Prepare exam rooms and surgical instruments
  • Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments; strong understanding of sterile techniques. Must possess excellent sterile technique. 
  • Support minor in-office procedures and wound care; specimen collection
  • Coordinate patient education and follow-up appointments
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation; process referrals as needed
  • Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned including chart prep, scheduling, data entry, phone calls, and patient registration

 

 What We’re Looking For:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)- **Only candidates who currently hold a valid Medical Assistant certification or the ability to obtain w/in 90 days will be considered***
  • Experience in surgical or women’s health settings highly preferred
  • 1-2 years of MA experience in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills
  • Compassionate, team-oriented, and adaptable personality
  • EMR experience and computer proficiency a plus
  • Positive, professional attitude with a team-first mindset and a passion for oncology care
