Are you ready to take the next step in your nursing career? As a Nursing Supervisor, youll coordinate and oversee professional nursing care across the site during your assigned shift. Youll ensure high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and safetywhile also mentoring staff, fostering teamwork, and building a culture of trust and accountability. This is a role for a confident leader who can balance clinical expertise with people leadership to drive positive outcomes.
What Youll Do
As a key clinical leader, you will provide supervisory oversight to nursing and
support staff during your shift. Youll monitor clinical operations to ensure
quality care and adherence to policies, while also assessing staffing needs and
adjusting as necessary to maintain safe ratios. Youll guide the team in
patient care decision-making, step in to support during changes in condition,
and assist with level-of-care evaluations and insurance pre-authorizations.
Youll also coach, train, and counsel staff to strengthen performance, all
while promoting a culture of patient safety, continuous improvement, and
engagement.
What Were Looking For
- Education:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program (required); bachelors degree in nursing (preferred)
- Experience:
- At
least two (2) years of current nursing experience (required)
- Psychiatric
nursing and progressive leadership experience (preferred)
- Licenses/Certifications:
Unrestricted nursing license (state of employment or compact license required)
