We are seeking a Sales & Business Development Manager to drive new business growth within our EV Division. This role is ideal for a proactive, hunter-minded sales professional who thrives on opening new accounts, building early-stage pipeline, and expanding market presence across targeted customer segments.

The Sales & Business Development Manager will focus primarily on identifying, engaging, and securing new customers, while also managing select existing accounts to drive continued growth and opportunity expansion. The successful candidate is persistent, self-motivated, and comfortable initiating relationships and managing opportunities from first contact through close.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound calling, targeted email campaigns, networking, industry events, and market research
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to build and maintain a healthy, active sales pipeline
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer needs, project requirements, and available funding options
  • Present solutions, proposals, and value propositions aligned with customer objectives
  • Coordinate with internal teams and qualified electricians to support site assessments and develop accurate reports and proposals
  • Manage the full sales cycle for new customers, including pricing discussions and contract negotiation
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and EV industry developments to identify new opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales documentation, and forecasting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a strong customer experience from initial engagement through project execution
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Level 2 and DC Fast Charging (DCFC) solutions
  • Stay current on EV incentive programs and applicable state and federal regulations

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered
  • Proven success in new business development and full-cycle sales
  • Strong prospecting skills, including cold outreach, strategic targeting, and relationship building
  • Ability to deliver customer-focused solutions and lead effective presentations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities, prioritize effectively, and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and standard business software; ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Experience in EV charging infrastructure, technical solution selling, construction workflows, or related industries is preferred
